Peter Lion was inclined towards writing from a very young age. During his growing up years in Connecticut he was seen dabbling in poetry and also wrote numerous short stories. He entered into the television business before he had completed his college. A couple of months before graduation, Peter Lion took up employment with WTNH-TV as a part time graphics operator. This television channel was an affiliate with the ABC network and was based out of New Haven. Peter Lion though, had no experience in this field snapped up this chance to get an entry and to create a foothold in the news and tv industry.

Then he transferred to Boston and started working with WSBK as a Technical Director. He labored on several projects, his major one being the Boston Red Sox Baseball and Boston Bruins Hockey.
